In response to customer feedback, we have added the following modifiers mandated by EyeMed for electronically submitted claims.
  • Prescription (RX) – Member has a diopter or medical condition that necessitated a medically necessary lens option for adequate vision correction.
  • Situational (ST) – Member has a circumstantial clinical need that required a specific treatment for adequate vision correction.
  • Previous Order (PO) – Member is unable to wear multi-focal lenses.

The Order Details screen within an Optical Order now features two new enhancements: a "None" shipping option and a dropdown menu for "Ship Speed," which offers various standard shipping speed selections. These selections are available on all order types and when the Processor is set to Manual or Arrellio.

The Documents & Images section of some screens has been updated to display the created date of uploaded or scanned files, rather than the updated date, for a more consistent user experience. Previously, the insurance area inaccurately showed the updated date due to file relocation, while the docs/images section displayed the created date. This change aims to eliminate confusion among users who noticed discrepancies in date displays. This update will apply to the following places:
  1. Accounting → Invoices → Invoice Details → Docs & Images
  2. Orders → Order → Docs & Images
  3. Patients → Amendments → Amendment detail → Docs & Images
  4. Patients → External Data → External Data Details → Docs & Images
  5. Patients → Insurance → Insurance Details → Docs & Images
  6. Patients → Orders Medical → Detail → Interpretation & Report → Docs & Images
  7. Add Insurance Modal → Schedule → Schedule Sidebar → Select Patient → Insurance Tab → Add Insurance
  8. Test Documents modal → Encounter → Test → Files Button
